USVMC Veterans MC Receives 200lbs of Candy from Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care to Support Deployed Troops

On November 7, 2024, the USVMC Veterans Motorcycle Club proudly received a generous donation of over 200 pounds of candy from Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care, aimed at bringing smiles and a touch of home to our brave men and women serving overseas.
As part of their commitment to both community and country, the USVMC Veterans MC will use the donated candy to create care packages for active-duty military members and units currently deployed. These packages, filled with sweet treats and heartfelt support, will be sent to troops serving in various regions around the world—a small reminder that they are never forgotten and always appreciated.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care for their support,” said a representative from USVMC Veterans MC. “It means a lot, not only to us as veterans but especially to those currently serving. A little candy can go a long way in lifting spirits and reminding them of the people back home who care.”
Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care collected the candy as part of their annual post-Halloween donation effort, encouraging local families to give back by contributing unopened candy for the troops. Their team’s dedication to community service—and to the health and well-being of children—extends far beyond the dental chair, and their partnership with the Veterans MC highlights the power of collaboration between local businesses and veteran organizations.
As the holidays approach, the care packages assembled by USVMC will not only include candy, but also letters of encouragement, basic essentials, and other comfort items to let service members know they are supported and honored for their sacrifices.
