PROJECT WARMTH: HELPING KEEP TOLEDO WARM THIS WINTER

- 2 min read
As the cold weather settles over Northwest Ohio, PROJECT WARMTH has come together to make a real difference for those in need. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, USVMC-Toledo has received a tremendous outpouring of donations including hats, gloves, coats, scarves, socks, pants, and blankets - all aimed at helping the homeless and those struggling to stay warm during the harsh winter months.

These items will be personally distributed by the U.S. VETERANS MOTORCYCLE CLUB - Toledo Chapter in the coming weeks. Our members are committed to getting these essential winter supplies directly into the hands of those who need them most - on the streets, in the shelters, and in local outreach centers throughout Toledo.
This project would not be possible without the kindness and support of our donors and sponsors. Every coat, every pair of gloves, and every blanket represents the compassion of a community that stands together. Your contributions are more than just material items - They're symbols of hope, dignity, and solidarity.
From all of us at USVMC-Toledo, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated, shared our mission, or helped spread the word. Together, we're proving that even the smallest acts of kindness can create warmth that goes far beyond the cold.
Project Warmth- Veterans serving the community, one act of kindness at a time.

THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY
While we were at PRO GOLF FAIRWAYS, we got a visit from an amazing family. They donated items for our care package drive. They had 2 amazing little girls. After the parents spoke with their kids, they wanted to donate the majority of their Halloween candy to the veterans. one of the girls said it's for "mommies and daddies who didn't get to go". What an amazing gesture. This really shows that these girls have amazing parents. The kids were all smiles and made all of our night. Keep up the great work.
With the parents' permission we would like to share some photos of that fun interaction
