LITTLE BLESSINGS VETERAN AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH

At Little Blessings, they believe that Veterans returning from service benefit from targeted assistance. They help Veterans and their families transition successfully to civilian life utilizing the healing power of equine-assisted services, wellness programs and community integration. When USVMC-Toledo arrived at the ranch we were overcome with peace from the moment we pulled onto the grounds. We went on a tour and got to learn about how the 50-week program works. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. We were invited to attend an event at the LB Ranch and got to speak with some of the Veterans. They told us how the Ranch has changed their life for the positive and explained some of the tools that the Ranch uses to help them better adapt to civilian life. LB Ranch has a mission that aligns with ours and we felt we needed to give back. We were able to make a donation of $5,350 to sponsor their fundraising event and to put a Veteran through their 50-week program. LB Ranch is a lot like us; they cannot do what they do for our local veterans if it wasn't for the support of our community.
